Sayed Hyder Ali Shihab Tangal, Panakkad has been leading this Maljaul Aitham Orphanage as the president of the committee from  1978
He is a spiritual and material leader of  Indian Muslims especially of Kerala Muslims.

More famous as the president of Indian Union Muslim League Kerala State, the supreme power of Indian Union Muslim League and leads Indian Muslims in smooth and tolerated way.

    The Vision of Maljau is to provide sustainable education, moral training, health care and social welfare facilities to the orphans and the destitute so as to integrate them into a healthy, productive and caring community and to establish themselves as agents of change in their own communities
